Case Study
Two turnkey plants deliver 100TPH and 80%+ recovery rate
To support a period of rapid expansion and requirement for increased process capacity, our client embarked on a strategy of establishing geographically dispersed processing facilities to enable a more efficient collection and recycling capability.
Following the successful delivery of a previous recycling plant for Bingo, SKALA was re-engaged to design & construct two new turnkey plants in the Western Sydney Region.
The project built upon the prior proven reliability of key components and bespoke client design elements from the first plant.
SKALA incorporated components from a range of our partners including General Kinematics FINGERSCREENS™, Spaleck Flipflow Screens, BlueMAC systems integration, General Kinematics DE-STONERS® and Steinert magnets.
GK FINGERSCREENS™ as the primary feed point enabled a reduction of pre-sorting effort required by the operational personnel.
. The facility was designed to process up to 100TPH of mixed Construction and Demolition Waste and achieve a recovery rate in excess of 80%.
Key elements of this plant enabled effective density and size separation combined with an efficient layout for final finished products. The plant was designed to accommodate existing structure with minimal adjustment to the building and was delivered whilst the site remained operational for the client.
