BlueMAC Trommel Screens are designed with maximum efficiency, throughput and serviceability in mind. As with all BlueMAC plant components, they are manufactured to the customer’s exact specification.

BlueMAC Trommel Screens are often used by customers to remove the fine fraction from the waste stream, thus making the remaining material easier to handle for the operatives or processing equipment. The small fraction, commonly termed as fines in the industry, is removed by the trommel, with the size predetermined by the holes in the trommel drum. This varies greatly depending on the customer’s operation, waste stream, volume of material and required product specification. The fines removed by the trommel screen are often between 15mm to 40mm.
